Why Soccer Works

The greatest challenge for the growth of American soccer is education. Not only is the youth development path a mess, few parents even know what to do, where to look, or how to find available options.

I’m not blaming the parents. I’m also not blaming youth soccer clubs. The problem lies with the American soccer system. The United States Soccer Federation has done a poor job of creating access and opportunity for all Americans regardless of location, gender, socioeconomic status, or race.

Recognizing that American soccer has this issue and many others, I wanted to create an easy and accessible way to consume helpful content. Hence why the podcast is two minutes long and is consumable natively on whatever platform you encounter it.

I look forward to the discussions and am hopeful that you will find answers as well as solutions that can help grow American soccer.

Until next time…
